Truly, my most favorite restaurant in Mobile. We dine there all the time -- love the atmosphere as well as the fantastic views, but the food is the best of all. Our favorites are grouper, mahi mahi, crab cakes, shrip & grits, crab claws, fried oysters, raw oysters, roasted oysters, oysters bienville, oysters rockerfeller, fried or grilled shrimp. My husband LOVES the bread pudding for dessert and my favorite is key lime pie. Go there -- it really is fine dining with a relaxed flair and the prices are very reasonable -- a great family restaurant! C.B.

We drove through, decided to dine here because of the reviews. We were not dissapointed. We had the Steamboat Buffalo Shrimp appetizer. It was the best fried spicy shrimp we'd ever had. Not too hot but full of flavor and the texture of the fried shrimp was perfect. We have it quite often at chain restaurants and it doesnt compare. Our meals were Shrimp Jamblalaya Penne Pasta and Shrimp Fettucini Alfredo. The Penne Pasta was excelent but not very spicy (we expectes hot love our spicy). The Fettuccini was a little bland (we are hispanic so we love our highly seasoned) but a little salt did the trick. The service was excellent. You can see the USS Alabama Battleship from the restaurant. There is a 2nd floor outdoor balcony where you can dine with a beautiful view of the water. We take with us the nicest pictures of the sunset from the 2nd floor deck. Next time we drive through Alabama we will surely be stopping by for dinner.

Great Discovery on Causeway.

We arrived for our company Christmas party last week at Oysterellas. We where greeted and thanked for coming as soon as we entered the restaurant. As we walked through the dinning area, we passed several servers they all took the time to welcome us to Oysterella's. We where then seated in a lovely section near the the back of the restaurant. Since this was our first time dinning at Oysterellas, we where not aware that we would have the most beautiful view of the Mobile delta and downtown skyline on the causeway. It wasn't very long after we settled in, our server came over, greeted us and took our drink order. She was very knowledgeable of the items on the menu and had really great suggestions on items that we would enjoy for dinner .Everything we ordered came out in a timely manner and I can honestly say everything was absolutely delicious! The food and environment where exceptional but what made the evening for us was ,the service . The dining room was extremely busy but she made sure our needs and wants where top priority throughout the entire evening. I suggest to anyone who has not visited oysterellas on the causeway ,waste no more time and drop by to experience the most personal restaurant in mobile. You will not be disappointed. You will be saying to yourself " What an experience"!!!

Sweet Deal

This place is the best. The food is great, the view is great, the service is great, and the price is great. This is one of the best values around. I would have expected to pay three times as much for the food we ordered at any other restaurant.

Slow service with food that is average at best. Prices are high for what they dish out. Too many other good choices on the causeway.
