Blakeley State Park invites visitors to explore the remains of Civil War rifle fire pits, batteries and earthen forts. Visitors can also ride the “Delta Explorer” pontoon boat that tours the area’s aquatic wildlife habitats. Located near Spanish Fort and encompassing 3,800 acres, the park is the largest national historic site east of the Mississippi River.
